Warranty Policy
Warranty Coverage
Robot Slashing warrants that its mowing machines are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance. The warranty period begins on the delivery date of purchase and applies strictly to the original purchaser.
- Domestic (Residential) Use: 12 Months
- Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, Rental, or Government Use: 6 Months
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This structural warranty provides benefits in addition to your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
What Is Covered
During the applicable warranty period, Robot Slashing will, at its discretion:
- Repair the defective product or component.
- Replace the defective product or component with an equivalent item.
- Refund the purchase price where repair or replacement is not reasonably available.
Warranty repairs will be carried out using new or reconditioned parts of equivalent quality.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including blades, belts, bearings, tyres, tracks, skid plates, cutting hammers, flails, filters, spark plugs, lubricants, and other consumable items.
- Routine servicing and maintenance.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper operation.
- Failure resulting from inadequate maintenance or failure to follow the operating manual.
- Accidental damage, collision, overturning, flooding, fire, or other external causes.
- Damage resulting from modifications, unauthorised repairs, or the installation of non-approved parts or accessories.
- Corrosion, rust, cosmetic damage, or paint deterioration that does not affect operation.
- Damage caused by transporting the machine incorrectly.
- Machines used beyond their intended operating limits or contrary to the manufacturer's recommendations.
Owner Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, the owner must:
- Operate the machine in accordance with the user manual.
- Perform regular inspections and routine maintenance.
- Keep service and maintenance records where practical.
- Use suitable fuels, oils, lubricants, and replacement parts.
- Stop using the machine immediately if a fault develops that could cause further damage.
Failure to maintain the machine may void warranty coverage where the lack of maintenance contributed directly to the mechanical failure.
Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, please contact Robot Slashing with your proof of purchase, machine model, serial number, a detailed description of the fault, and supporting photographs or videos.
The machine must not be dismantled or repaired without prior written coordination with Robot Slashing, as unauthorized disassembly may void the remaining warranty coverage.
Transport Costs
Unless otherwise required under the Australian Consumer Law:
- The customer is responsible for the cost of transporting the machine to and from an authorised repair location.
- If the warranty claim is evaluated and found not to be covered under manufacturing defects, the customer is responsible for inspection, labour, and return freight charges.
Transferability
This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Robot Slashing is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income, downtime, business interruption, or hire equipment costs, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
