These Terms of Service govern the sale of lawn mowers, machinery, attachments, spare parts, and related products by Robot Slashing ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing products from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance by us.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order where:

  • Product pricing or descriptions contain errors;
  • Products are unavailable;
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected; or
  • We are unable to fulfil the order.

An order is not accepted until payment has been received and confirmation has been issued by us.

2. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing are accurate.

However:

  • Product images are for illustrative purposes only;
  • Colours, finishes, and specifications may vary;
  • Manufacturers may change specifications without notice.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the product is suitable for their intended use before purchase.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Payment must be received in full before products are dispatched unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders affected by such errors.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping is provided in accordance with our Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates and timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by freight carriers, weather events, supply chain disruptions, industrial action, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

5. Risk and Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery or collection.

Ownership of the goods remains with us until payment has been received in full and cleared.

6. Returns and Refunds

Returns, refunds, and warranty claims are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

We do not accept returns for change of mind.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

8. Warranty

Manufacturer warranties apply where provided.

Warranty coverage does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Consumable items;
  • Routine servicing and maintenance;
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or improper operation;
  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs;
  • Use contrary to manufacturer instructions.

Warranty claims may require inspection by us, the manufacturer, or an authorised service provider.

9. Machinery Operation and Safety

Customers must:

  • Read and follow all operating manuals and safety instructions;
  • Ensure machinery is operated only by competent persons;
  • Perform routine maintenance as recommended;
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and workplace safety requirements.

Failure to follow manufacturer instructions may void warranty coverage.

10. Spare Parts and Accessories

Customers are responsible for confirming compatibility of parts and accessories prior to purchase.

Returns will not be accepted where an incorrect part is ordered by the customer.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of profits;
  • Loss of income;
  • Loss of business opportunities;
  • Downtime;
  • Hire equipment costs;
  • Indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the products.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our liability is limited to the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay arises from events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Floods;
  • Fires;
  • Pandemics;
  • Government actions;
  • Transport disruptions;
  • Labour disputes; or
  • Supplier shortages.

13. Website Use

Customers must not:

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes;
  • Attempt to interfere with website operation;
  • Introduce malicious software;
  • Copy or reproduce website content without permission.

14. Privacy

Personal information collected by us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the sale of products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
